In this crazy, crazy world of buffets, Tokyo One is way better than your average Asian buffet, but not nearly as good as Las Vegas's Wynn Buffet (IE - The Taj Mahal of buffets).

With that being said, Houston Yelpers should check this place out at least once.

They've got sushi. They've got noodles. They've got CRAB LEGS.

YES - all you can eat, juicy, succulent crab legs for about $30 ($15 for lunch, I hear).

The crab legs definitely make the heftier tab worth it.

If you are not sold by now, here are the nitty gritty details:

When my parents told me this was an all you can eat sushi buffet - I became very skeptical as this is not how I personally roll.

Although I am very much a sashimi girl, I stuck with the nigiri as I found the sashimi pieces resting on ice slightly frozen as a result. I will say everything looked fresher than expected. They were preparing the rolls before our eyes.

Along with the sushi and crab legs, I sampled udon noodles, ramen soup, tempuras, rack of lamb and delicious baked oysters.

The selection at Tokyo One was aplenty and they were never running out of dishes.

My family somehow found room to taste various selections from the miniature dessert station. I found the cheesecake to be the best. They also brought out green tea, red bean and plum ice cream - all delish.

Aside from the glorious amount of crab legs to feast on, I was also amazed at the excellent service! Our waiter cracked jokes with the table constantly and cleared our tables of crab shells within minutes.

As our meal concluded my dad paid the bill and we proceeded to leave the restaurant. Our waiter came running after us (we must have signed the wrong receipt). NOPE! My waiter came to tell my dad that gratuity was included so he overpaid him - who does that? AMAZING.

All in all, I look back at my experience at Tokyo One and smile. Will I be coming here on the regular? Probably not. Do I think you should check it out? Most Def.
