"I feel pretty, oh so pretty" when dining in the courtyard of Tiny Boxwoods.
I have yet to actually dine inside, because the courtyard is "simply maaaaaa-velous" (lush green grass, potted plants and flowers galore)!
The menu is posted on the front wall of the restaurant. Everything sounds amazing. Your decision on what to order is only made more difficult when you see their salads and sandwiches coming out of the kitchen.
I have come for lunch and dinner. I recall dinner being primarily thin crust pizzas and cheese plates (my personal heaven). You can't go wrong.
My lunch experiences have consisted of the spicy turkey burger with goat cheese (OMG), the grilled cheese (YES), and the turkey sandwich (WOW). I have only ordered the fries as my side option because they are awesome and thin (comparable to Houston's) .
Please take your out of town guests here - they will thank you. Have a gal pal that needs a pick me up? This may do the trick.
Listen to me very carefully:
YOU MUST NOT LEAVE WITHOUT A FRESHLY BAKED OOEY, GOOEY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE.
Promise?
I knocked off one star for 2 reasons.
A) It's a pricier option for something so casual. My lunch was $14, but worth every penny, especially on a beautiful day
B) Parking is tricky. If you are not lucky enough to find a spot in their small lot, you may be walking a few blocks
River Oaks moms may be regulars here, but every girl needs Tiny BW every once in a while.
