OK-WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ABOUT DRAGON BOWL?!
Make your own stir fry - made to order?!?! Why aren't there more of these establishments in Houston???
I was shocked to see some less than stellar reviews on this place. It appears people are not selecting the BYOB (Build You Own Bowl).
Dragon Bowl specializes in a concept where you choose a protein, veggies, a carb, and sauce. A chef proceeds to saute everything you selected in a wok (like a Mongolian bar-b-q).
Let's touch on all the goodness that is Dragon Bowl.
-The staff is SUPER NICE
-They are not shiesty and let you mix and match everything (no limits on how many veggies you can put in your bowl. They only charge extra for shrimp, udon noodles, and extra sauce
-They stir fry right in front of you so you can tell how clean they are (the place already appears clean)
-FAST - I ordered my bowl at the register and had it at my table 5 minutes later (on a Saturday night)!
Props to Dragon Bowl on their variety of options - SO MANY VEGGIES and their carb options include brown rice, white rice, Singapore noodles, vermicelli and Udon (my fave).
This is definitely one of my new fave lunch or casual dinner spots.
I have yet to try the sushi, so I can't speak to that part of the menu.
All I know is that Dragon Bowl is so necessary!
PS-the bowls are HUGE. You can definitely save half for another meal.
Next time I ago, I will probably share an app and save half the bowl for later.
